Gifts that Mean Something

Perry and I will be traveling to Arizona this year to be with my family for Christmas. We plan to pack up our belongings including a 70 pound Husky and drive the whole 13 hours to Phoenix (if you have any travel tips with toddlers, please let me know)!

Because our car is going to be pretty full with dog and child, we are opting to either send our gifts to the family via mail and/or be very thoughtful about what we pack in the car. When I discovered, Snapfish, a digital photo printing service that helps you personalize your prints, I knew that this was the route I wanted to go for my family.

I chose to personalize this 8x11 wall calendar because I knew that I could print off several versions and that it wouldn't take up a lot of room in the car. I love the idea of giving a gift with sentimental value. My parents are constantly asking for me to print off photos for them so I figured by making a calendar, it's the perfect budget-friendly way to make a gift last all year long.

The design process was super easy and took me less than 30 minutes to do. You can either upload photos directly from your desktop or easily import them from your Facebook or Instagram. There were hundreds of design options and embellishments that make customization a breeze. We did a few different versions of the calendar that you see in these photos, making it personalized for each family member. I loved how they turned out so much that I got us one to hang up at our house too!

I know that my family will appreciate turning the page each month and knowing that even though we don't live in the same state, we are always near and dear in their hearts.

I plan to do a lot more projects with Snapfish this year. Most of my photos live on a hard drive and I want to change that by getting more of them off the computer and into my hands. It's going to be one of my New Years resolutions for sure!

***You guys, this calendar is only $19.99 and they gave me a discount code for 40% off. Use the code TERRA40 and start designing your calendar today!
